What makes OUR table… The GOOD FOOD Table?
We’re so glad you asked! The Good Food Table was established from a deep rooted family passion not just for food, but also for the relationships and memories it cultivates. Food and fellowship are quite simply the most innocent forms of satisfaction that help to facilitate the development of relationships. Through our food, we aim to create experiences that will not only satisfy the palate, but leave the soul overwhelmed with love and joy.
How it began…
The concept began with a young man, Chef Devan, born in sunny California with roots in the Louisiana/Mississippi Delta. As you can imagine, that influenced his southern hospitality and charm. From a young age, you could find him eating or in the kitchen telling his mom what seasonings specific dishes needed more of. After returning home from his freshman year at Morehouse College, Mom opened a restaurant where he also discovered his passion for cooking and crafting flavor combinations.
Fast forward three years, four restaurants, and one spontaneous decision later, he moved to Phoenix looking to blaze his own culinary path. Missing family and all the events he grew accustomed to, Devan started hosting holiday get-togethers for friends who also were transplants without family around. This is where Chef Devan found his true passion in using food to bring people together. Couple the passion for relationship building with fifteen years of cooking experience, and you have the birth of The Good Food Table.
Since then, the team has expanded into a full service company that makes sure your meal is more than food- it’s an experience!
We’ve served thousands of guests in more than 10 major cities and created hundreds of unique menus.
More importantly, we’ve become family with all of our clients and can’t wait to serve you at The Good Food Table.
